Sford27 please make sure that you are logging into the e-mail address associated with your membership as opposed to your Apple ID. Apple IDs are not related to Adobe subscriptions.
If you have confirmed that your membership is valid then please ensure you have tried the steps listed in Sign in, activation, or connection errors | CC, CS6, CS5.5 - http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/policy-pricing/activation-network-issues.html. Also if you are on a managed network then you will need to involve your I.T. department or network administrator.
