Very Specific RAID Questions

I've read the RAID article twice now.  I still have some questions, which're quite specific:

Let's consider the following situation:

C: SAMSUNG 850 Pro Series MZ-7KE256BW 2.5" 256GB SATA III 3-D Vertical Internal Solid State Drive (SSD)

for OS and Programs

D: 3TB IntelliPower 64MB Cache, SATA 6.0Gb/s Hard Drive

for Source Media and Projects

E: SAMSUNG 850 Pro Series MZ-7KE128BW 2.5" 128GB SATA III 3-D Vertical Internal Solid State Drive (SSD)

for Pagefile and Media Cache

F: SAMSUNG 850 Pro Series MZ-7KE128BW 2.5" 128GB SATA III 3-D Vertical Internal Solid State Drive (SSD)

for Preview and Exports.

I'm planning on using this for exporting with Pr and Ae.

Here're my main questions.  These are quite specific given the circumstances, so articles haven't exactly answered my them:

  1. When "Identical Drives" are needed for RAID arrays, does that include the usable disk space (such as 256GB or 128GB, etc.)?  Or does it just have to be the manufacturer/type of drive?
  2. Would any type of RAID even be applicable given the above situation?  (In your opinion)
  3. Which drives are best suited as HDDs and SSDs, in regards of FAST render times?
  4. Which of the 4 drives should be connected with RAID, if they even should be at all?
  5. Should the Source Media and Projects Drive be an HDD or SSD?  I have proper backups and all that, but SIZE MATTERS.  I have growing collections, so I need a lot of space on that drive.
  6. Between what drives does the connection need to be the fastest?  All of them?  Or some more specific than others?  I fear that if an HDD is used as a Source Media and Project drive, it may significantly lower the speed of the entire machine, considering the other drives being SSDs.  However, I don't know.

If you need other hardware specifications, they can be found here:
